Manager, eLearning Instructional & Digital Designer

We are seeking a creative and tech-savvy eLearning Instructional & Digital Designer to design engaging learning experiences and develop digital content that enhances storytelling within our Global Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives. This role is a blend of instructional design, digital design, and multimedia learning content creation—ensuring training solutions are not only effective but also visually compelling and easy to navigate. The candidate will deploy creative expertise to bring instructional learning design, digital design, and technology together to enhance learning and development for RTX’s global workforce.

This position reports to the Director, L&D Infrastructure and works closely with corporate and business unit talent and L&D partners to achieve organizational objectives.  

What You Will Do

• Design and develop engaging ILT and eLearning courses, microlearning modules, and interactive training materials.
• Apply instructional design principles (e.g., ADDIE) to create impactful learning experiences.
• Develop modules, assessments, simulations, videos and scenario-based learning activities.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate complex content into clear, effective learning solutions.
• Design and structure compelling learning landing pages for programs and initiatives that serve as the gateway to the learning content and training programs, ensuring they are intuitive, visually engaging, and aligned with organizational learning goals. 
• Develop storytelling-driven web experiences that provide clear learning paths to information, offerings and suites of content, using interactive elements, multimedia, and dynamic content to enhance engagement.
• Organize content for clarity and impact, ensuring users can easily navigate training materials, upcoming courses, resources.
• Create branded digital learning hubs that reinforce the company’s L&D vision and encourage ongoing learning.
