Manager, Corporate Development

Role Responsibilities

M&A Execution and Support:

• Perform due diligence for acquisition targets, including artist catalogs and labels.
• Develop and refine financial models to support transaction valuations.
• Participate in legal document review and negotiations.
• Coordinate with external advisors and counterparties, such as artist managers, legal counsel and consultants.

Financial Planning and Reporting:

• Prepare, and develop enhancements for, annual budgets and monthly financial reports.
• Monitor, develop, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).

Corporate Strategy and Board Reporting:

• Support strategic planning efforts aligned with company objectives.
• Prepare presentations and materials for board meetings, including financial analyses and strategic updates.
• Conduct market and competitive research to inform strategic recommendations.

Role Requirements

• 2–5 years + experience in M&A across investment banking, private equity, private credit, corporate development, or a related field.
• Prior experience in the music industry is a plus, but not required.
• Expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and analysis of financial statements.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience, or an interest in developing experience, with SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, and Python.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective communicator with the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.
• Self-starter with a proactive approach and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
