What you will be doing in the role of a Manager, Community Health ProgramsĀ
The Manager, Community Health Programs is responsible for executing initiatives to achieve the greatest impact in providing patientsā access to high quality breast health care in the U.S. The Manager will be responsible for a portfolio of community health programs including community educational events, fostering partnerships and collaboration through coalition building and grants management. and other evidence-based interventions.Ā
What you will bring to the tableĀ
- The primary objective of the Manager, Community Health Programs, is to support Susan G. Komen in achieving our overall Vision and Mission by:
- Managing programs to drive access to care and engagement with Komenās mission for underserved communities or those living with aggressive or metastatic breast cancer.
- Identifying key stakeholders (individuals, organizations, coalitions, working groups, other entities, etc.) is important to advancing Komenās strategic imperatives and supporting the coordination of stakeholder meetings and collaborations to ensure alignment and achievement of project goals.
- Managing assigned grants, service agreements or other partnerships, with a focus on fostering partnerships and collaborations. Reviews annual progress and financial reports, facilitates coalition-building opportunities, ensures deliverables are met.
- Designing and implementing community educational events, ensuring alignment of community events with Komenās strategic imperatives and leveraging Komenās educational resources, providing support to local execution and operations, monitoring budget and outcomes.
