Manager, Commercial Integrated Marketing and Communications

Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Manager of Commercial Integrated Marketing and Communications located in Austin, TX or US Remote.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing and Communications, the Manager of Commercial Integrated Marketing and Communications located will responsible for developing content that demonstrates Flex’s cross-industry expertise and technical leadership, and creating and executing integrated marketing and communications plans for key end markets. The individual in this role partners with the business units to deliver programs that enable go-to-market strategies for revenue goals.
What a typical day looks like:
- Develop and implement marketing and communications plans for Flex’s business units, such as data center, automotive, and healthcare.
- Collaborate with Flex’s business units to create and implement differentiated messaging and programs.
- Manage execution of awareness and consideration campaigns and activations, including digital marketing, PR, and events.
- Support the development and execution of integrated marketing communications plans to advance prospect and customer engagement.
- Draft and edit long- and short-form content that showcases Flex’s deep domain and technical expertise across industries.
- Coordinate media interviews, including partnering with agencies, and manage speaking engagements.
- Work with subject matter experts, creative, content, and digital teams to craft narratives, determine channel strategies, and set success criteria aligned with growth targets.
- Supports customer communications on strategic initiatives and provides targeted support for executive communications for Business Unit Presidents.
- Develop scalable templates, messaging, and guidelines, partner with corporate on commercial messaging, and follows corporate brand standards.
- Contribute to performance metrics and tracking tools to measure results and program manage workflows and plan of records.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
- 8+ years in marketing and communications, preferably in regulated markets; manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Proven success in corporate communications, executive communications, PR, or strategic communications agency roles.
- Proficient in digital marketing, content marketing, and branding/messaging.
- Strong ability to thrive in a results-driven environment.
- Foundational understanding of how to use digital technologies, including AI tools.
- Excellent oral and written communication, strategic thinking, and organizational skills, with the ability to exercise tact, discretion, judgement, and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with internal and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel as required.
