Stellar Virtual was founded in 2019 with one school in Texas. We serve parents of K-12 students, unhappy with their current school, or needing an at-home/flexible learning environment. Today, Stellar Virtual has grown to six schools across three states: Texas, Arizona, and Indiana. Stellar Virtual is committed to going above and beyond for our virtual families.

Technology Aspect
Stellar Virtual is committed to ensuring our employees have the tools they need to succeed in a virtual work environment. To support your role effectively, we provide a company-issued laptop, equipped with the necessary software, security features, and internal support. This does not apply to Independent Contractors (1099), seasonal, or unpaid individuals.

Employment with Stellar Virtual is on an at-will basis (only W2 employment types), meaning either the employee or the company may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice, subject to applicable laws. Nothing in this job description should be construed as creating a guarantee of continued employment or a contract of employment for any specific duration. Position Overview
The Manager of College & Career Partnerships is primarily responsible for developing and managing robust college and career pathways for our students across all academic programs. This role involves building partnerships with colleges, universities, technical schools, industry leaders, and workforce organizations to support students’ transitions into higher education and meaningful careers.



Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • One Number: Provide 100% of students with foundational skills and future planning
  • Partnership Development
    • Establish and maintain partnerships with postsecondary institutions, trade schools, certification programs, and employers to provide college and career opportunities for students.
    • Identify and cultivate relationships with state and local workforce boards, industry leaders, and organizations to enhance career readiness pathways.
    • Negotiate agreements and manage Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with external partners.
  • Program Management
    • Develop and oversee programs that align students’ academic coursework with college credit, certifications, and career development opportunities.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to align partnerships with state-specific graduation and career readiness requirements.
    • Lead the implementation of dual enrollment, career and technical education (CTE) programs, and internship opportunities for students.
    • Ensure compliance with state and federal policies related to college and career readiness initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Serve as a liaison between external partners, academic leadership, and school counselors to promote program participation and student success.
    • Provide training and support to counselors, advisors, and teachers to help guide students in exploring college and career pathways.
    • Host virtual events, such as college and career fairs, webinars, and informational sessions for students and families.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting
    • Monitor and report on student participation and success in college and career programs.
    • Evaluate program effectiveness and use data to inform continuous improvement.
    • Maintain records of partnerships and ensure alignment with organizational goals.


Knowledge, Skills & Attributes 

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in education, workforce development, or partnership management.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing relationships with higher education institutions and workforce organizations.
  • Knowledge of college and career readiness standards and CTE programs.
  • Proficiency in virtual tools and technologies, including Google Suite and video meeting platforms.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in a virtual school setting or remote work environment.
  • Familiarity with multiple state education systems and policies.
  • Knowledge of equity and access in college and career readiness programs.


Education & Certification Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration or Related Field is required;
  • A master’s degree is preferred but not required.
