ROLE OVERVIEW:
The Manager of Clinical Integrity and Compliance supports the Executive Clinical Director to ensure clinical compliance to all applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and ethical standards. In addition, the Manager provides support, consultation and training to other teams and clinicians related to clinical compliance issues.
COMPENSATION: $85,000 - $115,000/annually
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage daily Compliance Desk inquiries related to clinical integrity & compliance
Assist and support Executive Clinical Director, CIC in developing, implementing, and managing new and existing workflows to support clinical integrity and compliance operations
Provide support on compliance related issues, including documentation standards and ethical considerations
Conduct discovery and provide recommendations for clinical compliance issues related to state/federal rules & regulations including state-specific scope of practice & prescriptive authority for all clinician types
Conduct discovery and cross team collaboration for critical incidents and quality of care investigations and provide formal conclusions
Provide support for internal departments and external agencies, responding to board inquiries, payor audit requests, regulatory inspections or interviews
Collaborate and support Legal/Compliance team and clinicians during board complaint investigations
Assist in identifying, developing and managing clinical policies, procedures and guidelines to meet accreditation standards (e.g. URAC, Joint Commission, NCQA etc.)
Assist in developing and delivering education and trainings regarding clinical compliance concerns
Participate in committees related to clinical compliance as assigned
Provide support of APP supervisory program (*Medical services)
Provider support of therapy supervision protocol (*Therapy services)
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing or related field.
2+ years of clinical practice experience.
2+ years of experience in development and implementation of clinical integrity and regulatory policies and procedures.
2+ years of experience in clinical supervision and training of providers in their discipline (LCSWs/LPCs/LMFT, APPs) is preferred.
Prior experience in regulatory compliance program at a healthcare delivery and/or payor organization is preferred.
