This is a great opportunity to join a small billing and collections team and take on increasing responsibility in a rapidly growing, dynamic business. You’ll start doing meaningful work from day 1, including integrating and operationalizing new processes to Datavant, brought in through a recent acquisition, with the encouragement of your manager, our Sr. Director of Billing & Collections. We’re looking for an experienced billing and collections manager who is smart, nice, and excited to get things done in a hyper growth tech company. You will:

  • Be responsible for the billing and collections for one of our largest Payer clients with a focus on process quality and ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Drive the integration of the newly acquired company’s processes and procedures
  • Drive process improvements through system and process enhancements
  • Provide direction to management and supervisory staff
  • Institute target collection goals and hold team accountable
  • Create, maintain, and analyze reports to track collection trends
  • Communicate with executive management regarding creative concepts and objectives, which may benefit the company.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks and duties as necessary to assist the management team and enhance the position of the company.
  • Work with managers of other departments to assist in the development and implementation of other programs.
  • Work with Field Operations to enhance ability to collect and assist as needed.

What you will bring to the table: 

  • 3 years minimum experience in billing and collections in a management role
  • Experience in M&A systems and process integrations in a billing environment
  • Experience in billing & collections for a large Payer client
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Candidate must be very organized and be capable and willing to multi-task
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work with others and be extremely team oriented
  • Ability to sustain continuous pressure, withstand conflicting requirements
  • Strong time management skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent problem solving skills, imagination and patience

Bonus points if:

  • Experience in Netsuite, High Radius

The range posted is for a given job title, which can include multiple levels. Individual rates for the same job title may differ based on their level, responsibilities, skills, and experience for a specific job. The estimated salary range for this role is  $84,000-$95,000.
