IAT Insurance Group has an immediate opening for a Manager, Auto Claims Services that can report to one of the following locations:
- Raleigh, North Carolina
- Alpharetta, Georgia
- Rolling Meadows, Illinois
- Naperville, Illinois
- Omaha, Nebraska
This role will serve as a key technical leader with operational expertise, primarily responsible for guiding and developing a team of Auto Physical Damage and Property Damage professionals.
The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership skills, possess a proven track record of effectively managing teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment, have a desire to develop agile claim professionals, and show a passion for advancing our Claims initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of 6-10 Commercial Auto Physical Damage and Property Damage adjusters
- Ensures development of staff by recruiting, selecting, and training employees for the Auto Physical Damage and Property damage group
- Tasked with enhancing the expertise of the Commercial Auto Physical Damage and Property Damage team by offering technical consultation and coaching. This ensures accurate valuation determination, prompt settlement offers, timely responses to counteroffers, and appropriate settlement outcomes in accordance with state statutes and regulatory policies.
- Ensure compliance with Claims Best Practices and superior Quality Review and Audit scores
- Partner with Claims Training, Vendor Management, Claim Strategy, Claims Transformation, and Support to continue to identify and execute on strategic initiatives and opportunities for advancement of the department
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
Must-Have:- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years leadership experience
- Technical Auto Physical Damage and Property Damage claims handling (commercial or personal lines) or equivalent
- Equivalent is defined as 9+ years of commercial or personal lines claims handling
- Salvage management experience a plus
- Understanding of legal, regulatory and compliance requirement

Please note, IAT works on a hybrid schedule, working from the office Monday through Wednesday with the option of working remotely Thursday and Friday. Compensation: Please note, that the annual gross salary range associated with this posting is $92,800 – $146,800. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base salary for this position. The total compensation will include a base salary, performance-based bonus opportunities, 401(K) match, profit-sharing opportunities, and more. Actual salaries will vary based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and geographical location related to this specific role.
