As an analytical scientist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our drug candidates are well characterized, our testing associated with our manufacturing processes are well understood, and our regulatory filings are well written. You can expect to work on multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
On normal workdays, you will deploy a phase appropriate philosophy to establish a productâs specifications, work directly with our CDMOs to provide insight into method development, support IPC development, monitor stability programs and document results in regulatory filings.Â
- Support corporate efforts to industrialize drug discovery and development. Â
- Develop processes and systems that will facilitate the advancement of drug candidates through clinical trials and commercialized products.
- Lead in and/or Contribute to the development and validation of reliable test methods, the design and implementation of effective characterization stability or other studies through appropriate protocols, meaningful data reviews and accurate reports.
- Support the development of stability studies management and analytical standards across programs.
- Create processes to support stability studies management and analytical standards across programs.Â
- Author or contribute to the development of regulatory documents in support of global submissions (INDs, IMPDs, NDAs, briefing packages, etc.).
- Innovate using new technologies to expedite delivery in order to decrease drug development time.
Location:
Making Salt Lake City your home base is ideal, however, we will consider remote work for this position. We ask that remote employees commit to regular on-site visits for routine work and departmental events.Â
The Team Youâll JoinÂ
Reporting to the Director of Analytical Chemistry, you will be an integral member of the Recursion Development Team. You will contribute to the analytical development activities within a fast-paced, goal oriented, clinical development environment and to the larger Recursion goal of industrializing the development of medicines.
The Experience Youâll Need
Ph.D or MS in Analytical chemistry or closely related field with 3+ yearsâ experience. Bachelorâs degree with 7+ yearsâ experience will be âŚ
