Manager, Alliances & Ecosystems

Overview

The Manager of Alliances and Ecosystem Technical Operations (A&E Tech Ops) is tasked with overseeing the A&E Solutions team, the entirety of The CoLAB and Q-SYS interoperability initiatives alongside partner integrations. This role involves a close collaboration with the Alliances and Ecosystem, Product Development, and Technical Support teams to develop, test, and resolve issues with partner-focused system solutions. Additionally, the manager is responsible for the generation and upkeep of application notes, knowledge base articles, and other related documentation to support these integrations.

Base Pay Range 120,000-175,000

This pay range also depends on various factors such as job duties and requirements, relevant experience and skills and geographic location. Responsibilities

The CoLAB

Responsible for day-to-day operation and staffing coordination of The CoLAB including scheduling and execution of internal and external facing engagements. Responsible for envisioning, coordinating, and deploying the evolution of the space as organization and partner needs develop.

Technical Support

Responsible for maintaining communications and relationships between A&E and Q-SYS support teams including ongoing training and documentation efforts. Manages and executes internal case escalation testing when, and as, appropriate for partner related troubleshooting. Facilitates partner support communications and shared escalation paths.

Partner Interoperability

Responsible for organizing and executing certification related testing, both internal and external, for Q-SYS and Partner solutions. Work with interdepartmental and external teams to achieve desired outcomes.

Documentation

Oversee the creation and maintenance of A & E related support and marketing documentation to include but not limited to, Knowledge base articles, Solutions guides and sample designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in a technical/engineering discipline, or equivalent experience
• CTS, CTS-D or similar AVIXIA technical certification desired.
• At least 8 years experience in the AV Integration industry with emphasis in system design and commissioning
• At least 5 years managing a technical team in an audio-visual installation capacity
• In-depth understanding of audio, video and control principles and algorithms.
• Understanding of standard networking protocols and best practices.
• Strong understanding of and experience with collaboration platforms and products
• Hands-on experience writing code in a modern programming language, such as Lua, C++, JSON, etc…
• Proven success in working cross-functionally both internally and externally.
• Must have strong verbal skills with consultative professional business acumen.
