Manager - Agile Delivery Lead

Job Description:

Dynamo Technologies LLC seeks a Senior Scrum Master to support agile application development and delivery for the U.S Forest Services. Projects include agile development of new applications and modernization of legacy applications using both custom and low-code approaches.

Duties/ Responsibilities

• Ensures that agile practices and principles are applied effectively across a set of related projects or teams. Monitors scrum delivery teams to recommend methods, tools and training to improve effectiveness and reduce risk.
• Works closely with agile teams to facilitate delivery, remove impediments, and ensure smooth processes.
• Emphasizes iterative and incremental delivery of products, ensuring that each iteration adds value.
• Coordinates efforts across multiple teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
• Support budget and resource management on related projects or teams.
• Engages frequently with stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring that business needs are met.
• Design, plan and implement an agile metrics program across all Agile delivery teams.
• Responsible for the development of company Agile vision, roadmap and execution milestones.
• Coordinate agile process improvement activities with customer branch and department leadership.
• Provide Agile training and mentoring as part of internal company training and career development.
• Assesses and periodically reviews team member performance and skills

Required Skills

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) a must
• Experience implementing and leading a scrum of scrums
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to handle multiple project assignments
• Personable and able to work with individuals at all levels
• Ability to plan, organize, and structure work
• Experience motivating teams in a virtual environment
• Understands the Software Development Lifecyle concepts and process

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working for Federal or State govt 
• Experience with low-code platforms such as SalesForce

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in business analysis, business administration, IT, or any related field
  • If no Bachelor Degree, minimum of 11 years' experience needed
• 7+ years of experience
  • 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master
