We are seeking a proactive and resourceful Manager, Accounting to join our finance team. Reporting to the Controller, you will play a vital role in overseeing and enhancing our accounting operations. Responsibilities:
- Oversee timely and precise month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure the general ledger's accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure all transactions are classified and recorded in accordance with US GAAP. Prepare and review financial statements and reports, guaranteeing their accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Oversee the revenue recognition processes specific to SaaS, ensuring compliance with ASC 606. This includes managing billing, collections, and revenue forecasting to accurately reflect the company’s financial performance.
- Contribute to the definition and implementation of scalable accounting processes that enhance operational efficiency and support the company’s growth trajectory. Evaluate current workflows, identify areas for improvement, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish adaptable best practices.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across departments to ensure effective collaboration. Align financial strategies with organizational goals and provide valuable financial insights that empower data-driven decision-making.
- Work closely with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to deliver in-depth financial analyses that support the development of forecasts and budgets, driving strategic planning efforts.
- Lead and mentor the accounting staff, promoting high performance and encouraging professional growth. Serve as a player-coach, actively engaging in detailed tasks while also guiding the team.
- Manage external audits by ensuring timely responses to auditor inquiries and facilitating a smooth audit process. Prepare necessary documentation and support to meet compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
