An active collateral secret clearance is mandatory day one,

P&W is seeking a candidate for Maintenance and Test Manager to represent P&W at a customer location.

In this high visibility, team oriented environment, the Maintenance and Test Manager will provide planning and technical support to include test activities, systems troubleshooting, and the sustainment of support equipment, material, and processes. Coordinates with Logistics and Base Engine Manager to ensure induction priority based upon fleet readiness and supportability requirements.

What You Will Do:

• Coordinates and oversees the installation of the unit or system to include oversight on primary connections, controls, and indicating instruments.
• Uses a fundamental knowledge of instruments and controls to give basic data analysis and troubleshooting to ensure quality and identify trends.
• Works together with engineers regarding data in Continuous Improvement activities-processes, outcomes, and cost savings.
• The position will comprise of working closely with P&W Engineering and P&W technicians as well as customer personnel to resolve technical and logistical problems involving propulsion system operation, test, and maintenance.
• This position will coordinate resolution issues with the Engineering and Logistics Program Management team and in some cases will need to identify and react to program obstacles/problems and obtains solutions independently, and with limited resources.

Candidate will work primarily 1st shift on site but must be willing to be flexible to customer needs.

Occasional travel is possible to support customer requirements.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Active DoD Secret (or higher) security clearance Day One.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Bachelor’s in related engineering/technical field and a minimum of 8+ years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5+ years’ professional experience in aircraft propulsion systems, flight/development test engineering, or engine/aircraft maintenance required.

        

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Active Secret security clearance and experience working with special access programs.
• Familiarity with test & evaluation planning and processes consistent with ground/flight test conduct, data analysis/evaluation, technical report preparation, and administrative aspects.
• Experience applying strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead or facilitate teams to achieve successful results.
• The ability to work in cross-functional teams on a wide variety of tasks and with limited supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to Environmental, Health and Safety regulations, policies, procedures, and best practices.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
