Job Summary

As a Low Voltage Systems Technology Project Manager, you will play a hands-on role in the design, documentation, and execution of technology infrastructure for healthcare projects. Your primary focus will be on developing innovative, sustainable low voltage and IT systems solutions that directly impact healthcare delivery. You will work closely with healthcare users, IT/Biomedical teams, and other design professionals to ensure that every project reflects technical excellence and Mazzetti’s commitment to engineering a healthier planet.


Your Tasks Will Involve:

Design and Documentation:

  • Create detailed designs, specifications, and documentation for IT networks, low voltage, and communication systems in healthcare settings.
  • Develop and refine technical drawings and system layouts using software tools.

Technical Analysis and Solutions Development:

  • Perform hands-on assessments of healthcare IT and communication systems requirements.
  • Analyze project needs to develop customized, effective solutions for clients.

Collaboration and Integration:

  • Collaborate directly with design teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless system integration into larger project frameworks.
  • Work with regulatory and compliance teams to align designs with industry standards.

Client and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Partner with healthcare users and IT/Biomedical teams to understand their operational needs and translate them into actionable design solutions.
  • Contribute to workshops, planning sessions, and technical discussions to deliver impactful solutions.

Cost and Efficiency Improvements:

  • Provide detailed cost estimates and budgets, ensuring that solutions align with client goals and project constraints.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and sustainability in systems design.

Work Location

This is a hybrid position based in the Eastern United States. While most work can be performed remotely, occasional on-site presence will be required depending on project needs.


Travel Requirements: 20-25%


Requirements

Expertise And Abilities You Will Contribute

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or 7+ years of relevant experience designing and implementing IT, low voltage and communication systems in healthcare environments.
  • A solid understanding of the unique challenges and requirements of healthcare IT and communication systems, including compliance with healthcare-specific regulations and standards.
  • Strong understanding of architectural design processes and low voltage systems design.
  • Healthcare project experience a must.
  • A hands-on approach to problem-solving and solution implementation.
  • Strong technical documentation and drafting skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally. 

Preferred:

  • RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) certification.
  • CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) Certification.
  • Proficiency in software for project management, cost estimating, and document management.

Compensation: The typical salary range for a Low Voltage Systems Technology Project Manager is $110,000-135,000. The ultimate compensation may vary depending on your experience and job-related skills.

Salary Description $110,000 - $135,000 Apply
