JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to the Logistics Operations Supervisor, this associate position will play a critical role in freight payment and upholding strong relationships with each logistics partner. The associate will be responsible for freight billing, warehouse invoicing, exception management for freight payment and operational seller support in a timely and professional manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as a primary liaison between logistics partner and internal teams regarding freight payments
- Manage freight billing and warehouse invoice auditing and payments
- Investigate and resolve freight invoice billing exceptions
- Provide operational seller support to maintain trailer pool flow
- Work with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement across all BSTK functions
- Develop and maintain SOP’s for freight payment and escalations
- Cross-train on other associate responsibilities to provide coverage when needed
- Perform special projects or analyses as requested
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Highly organized individual with strong attention to detail
- Strong self-starter with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment
- Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly and accurately
- Ability to work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with freight payment or invoicing
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Ability to work a flexible schedule on occasion
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience working with logistics/transportation brokerage is preferred
- Acquired experience using Transportation Management Systems and Customer Relationship Management systems preferred
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel (Google Sheets) experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree preferred
The pay rate for this role will range between $45,000 to $55,000 per annum. We consider many factors when determining salary offers, such as the applicant’s work experience, education and training, skills, market data, and internal equity.
