As a LOB Risk Specialist Senior, you will be within the Risk, Change, Experience, Strategy (RCES) organization, supporting the Retail Lending Operational Risk group. This is a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.


The LOB Risk Specialist Senior role is to provide risk advisory to Retail Lending Lines of Businesses by working with both Lines of Business (LOB) and other Lines of Defense (LOD) partners (e.g., Compliance, Technology, Operations/Independent Risk Management, Audit). As the LOB Risk Specialist Senior, you will work with the business managers to ensure risk management programs are established, maintained and executed in adherence with Enterprise Risk Management & PNC’s Operations Risk Management (ORM) Framework. You will advise Lines of Businesses with risk mitigations in initiatives through Process, Risks and Controls impact assessments, and work with the LOB/LOD partners to identify opportunities to reduce, mitigate, and monitor business’ operational risks while meeting business and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities of the position include:
• Executing Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) in accordance with the Operational Risk Management program.
• Providing advisory in risk identification, control opportunities, participate in control design and development requirements.
• Providing reports and escalate risk and program compliance as appropriate.
• Executing Process, Risks and Control (PRC) Impact assessments for Initiatives and other change efforts

Job Description
  • Executes the Line of Business Risk Management program, identifying opportunities for enhancement where applicable. Enables line of business adherence with risk management programs.
  • Participates in the design and development of the risk management program to meet business and regulatory expectations. Leads in the design and development of specific risk management program components.
  • Executes the risk management programs within or across the lines of business (e.g. - business self-assessment and quality reviews). May lead cross functional teams.
  • Provides risk expertise while working with the businesses and other risk partners (e.g., Compliance, Credit, Legal, Audit).
  • Leads or influences risk initiatives and business as usual activities. Identifies risk, assesses impact and makes recommendations on resolution. Reports and escalates risk and program compliance as appropriate.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $141,700.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
