LMS Administrator

The Learning System Administrator will be responsible for supporting all VCA learning systems, which includes analyzing and testing online system functionality, tools, processes and data. This role will provide feedback on content delivery, catalog and governance processes and participate in training content review to make recommendations for cataloging improvement. The position will also manage various online learning cohorts and communities and act as a lead and support for VCA virtual learning events.
Essential Responsibility/Tasks:
Support administrative needs of internal learning management systems:
Set permissions and training assignments
Run, analyze, and distribute LMS reports to various clients
Oversee and maintain in-house LMS digital catalog
Routinely quality check LMS content, pages and links to ensure quality and identify issues
Educate employees and leadership about learning management system through training, quick reference guides and email communications
Partner and collaborate with training team, subject matter experts and clients to manage learning assignments and run custom reports
Partner with others on the MVH and VCA training teams to perform regular maintenance on the system to ensure functionality works properly
Make recommendations on future improvements to content management and governance workflow processes and overall user experience
Coordinate and lead virtual CE sessions in Zoom and Microsoft Teams:
Provide technical support pre, during, and post live events
Train and educate others on how to operate virtual learning platforms (facilitators and moderators)
Support online training communities and/or learning cohorts within the LMS:
Partner with L&D and Department Leads to roll out new WOOF U training and learning event emails as needed
Education/Experience
High school diploma or equivalent
3 Years of of collective experience
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
2 years of experience managing learning management systems
Experience with Cornerstone OnDemand Learning Management System or Certification in Core/Learning
1-2 years of administrating events using communication platforms such as Adobe Connect, WebEx, or Zoom
1-2 years of work experience within corporate training environments or similar
1-2 years administrating a virtual communication platform such as Adobe Connect, WebEx, or Zoom
1 year of experience in hosting and facilitating company events
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Experience using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Captivate
10- 15% travel is required for this position as needed
