Modivcare is looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal IV to join our team! This position is responsible for supporting our in-house legal team with document review and production, contract review and editing, and payment dispute resolution. Additionally this role focus on litigation support, including discovery processes, document management, and contract analysis, as well as handling payment disputes in a corporate or law firm setting.

Litigation Support & Document Review- Assists in all phases of litigation, including case management, discovery, trial preparation, and settlement.
- Conducts document review and production in response to discovery requests, subpoenas, and regulatory inquiries.
- Organizes, indexes, and manages large volumes of documents, including electronic databases.
- Coordinates with outside counsel, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely responses to litigation demands.
- Reviews and edits contracts, agreements, and legal documents to ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk mitigation.
- Identifies and flags problematic contract terms, inconsistencies, or ambiguities for attorney review.
- Assists in contract negotiations by providing summaries and redlined versions of agreements.
- Investigates and analyzes payment disputes, including reviewing invoices, payment records, and applicable agreements.
- Works with internal teams (e.g., Finance, Sales, and Operations) to resolve disputes efficiently.
- Assists in drafting demand letters, settlement agreements, and other dispute resolution communications.
- Maintains records of dispute resolution efforts and escalate unresolved matters as needed.
We are interested in individuals with the following...
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program is a plus.
- Four (4) plus years of experience of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in a corporate legal department or law firm.
- Experience in personal injury, healthcare or commerical litigation is a plus.
- Experience handling accounts receivable disputes, payment reconciliations, and collections is a plus.
- Or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), CLIO, Exterro and legal research platforms (e.g., Bloomberg Law).
- Attention to Detail: Strong analytical and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Strong understanding of litigation procedures, discovery processes, and document management tools.
- Familiarity with alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes, such as mediation or arbitration.
- Ability to review, edit, and analyze contracts, including commercial agreements and settlement documents.
Salary: $28.61 - $38.63 per hour
