​​About the Role:

Hims & Hers is seeking a self-motivated and pragmatic Litigation Counsel to join our growing, collaborative Legal team. The successful candidate will be a team-player, entrepreneurial, and comfortable working in a fast-paced remote work environment. You will actively manage and oversee litigation, including providing legal guidance to our Customer Service and People teams and partnering with cross-functional business teams to pursue and defend litigation matters. You will get to work on interesting and novel issues that arise from the intersection of healthcare, technology, and e-commerce. 

You Will:

  • Primary responsibility for litigation matters, including case strategy development and execution, in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Represent the company in smaller litigation matters, including regulatory inquiries, subpoenas, and other third-party requests for information.
  • Manage outside counsel for more complex litigation matters, including providing strategic guidance, case management, and coordinating internally with business teams to gather relevant information.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on litigation-related matters, including risk assessment and mitigation strategies. 
  • Develop and oversee the company’s discovery and litigation hold processes.
  • Provide guidance and updates to management on litigation matters.
  • Maintain effective communication with insurance carriers and other third parties.

You Have:

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and current active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction.
  • 8+ years practicing at a law firm, government, or in-house.
