We are excited to announce that Direct Markets is hiring a Lithia Relationship Manager to lead our newly formed dedicated Lithia team! This opportunity is open to all qualified Zurich employees and will be part of the Customer Office.
As the Lithia Relationship Manager, you will be involved in selecting and leading a team of regional leaders, developing and executing a strategy to deliver on our commitments, and grow DM’s revenue. You will manage the relationship with Lithia’s leadership team and work with DM’s leadership team to drive profitable growth.
In this role you will be responsible for:

Implementing the on-boarding process for new Regional Relationship Leaders by developing a consistent support, service, and training model designed to strengthen the Lithia relationship and drive profitable growth.

Developing and executing a strategy to increase Zurich F&I product sales in both Lithia High and Low Touch dealerships.

Monitoring critical metrics and goals to support increased production and profitability.

Scheduling and preparing for quarterly portfolio review meetings.

Supporting the development, evaluation, and execution of Regional Relationship Leaders’ business plans within each region, providing assistance as needed.

Working with each assigned Regional Relationship Leader on their development plans and regularly monitoring progress against those plans.

Conducting regular ride along visits with each Regional Relationship Leader to discuss and provide guidance and feedback on pre-call planning and observe and coach on in-dealership activity.

Providing feedback and coaching to the Regional Relationship Leaders on how to improve the productivity and success of their dealership visits.

Leading collaboration with the DM field staff to fill training, service and support gaps as needed.

Participating in activities to strengthen the Lithia relationship including attending Lithia’s annual golf outing, Lithia Regional Meetings, and conducting national and regional training events.
This role will be filled at either the Lithia Relationship Manager I or II Level. The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant’s experience and skill set relative to the qualifications listed for this position.
Required Qualifications:
Lithia Relationship Manager I:
- Bachelors Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Sales area
OR - High School Diploma or Equivalent and 9 or more years of experience in the Sales area
OR - Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 7 or more years of experience in the Sales area
AND - Management experience
OR
Lithia Relationship Manager II:
- Bachelors Degree and 8 or more years of experience in the Sales area
AND - Commercial insurance industry experience
- 2 or more years in leadership roles including change management
- Knowledge of the market participants, practices and products
- Supervisory and management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of customer, distribution and relationship strategies and roles
- Ability to effectively align resources with business opportunity and develop staff
Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. Other rewards may include short term incentive bonuses and merit increases. Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill, and education. The salary provided is a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. The combined salary range for this position is $127,400.00 - 275,800.00. The starting salary range for the Lithia Relationship Manager I is $127,400.00 - $208,600.00 and for the Lithia Relationship Manager II is $168,400.00 – $275,800.00.
