Lifecycle Marketing Manager (Remote)

Remote - United States

We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. We recognize that mental health issues can be complex and multifaceted, and we are dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.

We aim to create a world where mental health is no longer stigmatized or marginalized, but rather is embraced as an integral part of one's overall well-being.

We believe that by providing quality care that is both evidence-based and compassionate, we can empower individuals to take charge of their mental health and achieve their full potential. We are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with mental health issues and we strive to be a force for positive change in the field of mental healthcare.

About the Role

At Rula, we are on a mission to make mental healthcare work for everyone, and we need a strategic, driven email + sms marketing manager to help make it happen.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping the patient experience by ensuring patients get the right message via the right channel at the right time. This role will be fundamental in helping create and scale a best-in-class lifecycle marketing program at Rula.

You’ll lead the development and execution of multi-channel lifecycle strategies (email + SMS primarily) to improve the speed and quality of patient access to mental healthcare. You'll work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to create an intelligent, personalized lifecycle program, refine our reporting and analytics capabilities, and expand our test-and-learn program to continuously improve patient engagement.

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a bias for action, and brings exceptional organization, customer focus, and attention to detail to everything they do. If you're excited about using data-driven strategies to make a meaningful impact in mental healthcare, we'd love to hear from you!

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a D2C / B2C lifecycle or retention marketing role, with a proven track record of creating and executing effective lifecycle strategies, driving program growth and meaningful business results through multi-channel campaigns

  • Hands-on experience with Iterable, including the ability to set up, automate, and optimize campaigns, journeys, experiments, dynamic content, and segmentation

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, run A/B tests, and make data-driven decisions to improve campaign performance

  • Excellent project management skills, capable of managing multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

While having the preferred qualifications enhances your candidacy, having all of them is not mandatory. We encourage all interested applicants to apply, even those who may not meet every preferred requirement.

  • Exceptional communication skills, able to convey complex strategies clearly and collaborate effectively across teams like Product, Operations, Support, and others

  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

  • Experience working in a healthcare, mental health, or marketplace environment

  • 1+ years experience at a high-growth start-up

  • Experience owning retention strategies and implementing success retention campaigns

  • Experience with more complex lifecycle programming like HTML or SQL

  • Experience using BI tools (preferably Looker and Amplitude)
