Summary
PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker to join our Behavioral Health Program. This opportunity will provide comprehensive behavioral health for the common conditions seen in primary care such as depression, anxiety, ADD, and conduct disorders in an extended primary care collaborative model.**For Full Time, the pay range for this position is $60,000 -$70,000k + medical benefits + PTO** (prorated for Part Time hours)

**Flexible Schedule: sometime in the following ranges: 1-9pm M-F or 9-3pm Sat; or 4 10 hour shifts: 2 weekdays 8am-6pm, 2 weekdays 11am-9pm**

Description
- Perform psychosocial assessments that comply with evidence-based practices
- Provide individual, family and group therapy for patients using evidence-based treatment modalities
- Participate in collaborative care team meetings
- Maintain licensure and professional development as required by licensing board
- Complete required documentation including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner
- Work closely with patient, family and team to overcome obstacles in treatment
- Maintain a caseload of 30-35 patients weekly or a minimum of 5 patients daily
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work or a related field required
- Relevant therapist license in the state(s) practicing (LMSW- NY)
- MUST have experience with pediatric and adolescent patients
- Experience providing teletherapy to children and adolescents preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to effectively interact, work, and develop meaningful relationships with people of various cultural backgrounds
- Knowledge of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent short-term counseling skills
- Experience with discharge planning

Please note that actual salaries/rates may vary within this range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and based on experience and qualifications.
