Leverage Finance Attorney

We are currently seeking a Finance Lawyer to support a leading-financial media and information services firm analyzing high-yield and leveraged debt documentation to provide thoughtful, commercially-minded market insight for publication. 

This opportunity enables you to leverage your experience and expertise to counsel and collaborate with some of the most innovative and dynamic minds in the industry while developing a diverse set of skills.

Responsibilities:

• Review, analyze and provide actionable insights on high yield documentation and debt structures in the primary and secondary markets.
• Provide real-time legal analysis on topical situations, and market alerts on covenant developments.
• Collaborate closely with fellow experts in the Americas and other regions to produce industry leading covenant analysis, generate data-backed trendlines, for the continued development of organizations products and services.
• Proactively generate new content for clients through articles, market updates, webinars, and podcasts.

Qualifications: 

• 5 – 10+ years of experience working in debt finance, with a focus on high yield bonds and/or leveraged finance, ideally with 3+ years working with an AM100 law firm or major investment bank.
• Strong analytical skills and confidence in reviewing and analyzing high yield and leveraged finance documents to provide actionable insights in a timely manner.
• Able to multitask and work both independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment with people from varied professional backgrounds.
• Confident communicator, who writes in a clear and concise manner for the intended audience.

Compensation, Benefits & Location: 

This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $200,000 and a highly competitive benefits package in the alternative legal services marketplace that includes health benefits, 401K and more.
