About the Role

OpenLoop is seeking a strategic, execution-focused Learning & Development Partner. This pivotal role will drive the execution of our enterprise-wide onboarding strategy and contribute significantly to leadership development initiatives, including our coaching program. This is a high-impact role for a builder-leader who is passionate about scaling people systems, optimizing the new hire experience, and mentoring emerging leaders.

What You’ll Do

As a Learning and Development (L&D) Partner, you’ll be a key player in shaping how our teams grow and lead. You'll design and scale impactful onboarding experiences and leadership development programs that strengthen our people, culture, and processes. Your mission: to equip managers and new hires with the tools they need to thrive from day one, and beyond.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and scale organizational onboarding and leadership coaching programs that align with our values and business goals.

  • Design and deliver engaging, effective learning materials—including videos, guides, and LMS modules—that meet adult learning principles.

  • Partner cross-functionally with HR, team leads, and department heads to assess needs and tailor learning experiences.

  • Facilitate leadership workshops, new hire sessions, and coaching circles with clarity, empathy, and confidence.

  • Manage end-to-end projects, juggling timelines, deliverables, and stakeholders with minimal oversight.

  • Evaluate program effectiveness, collecting feedback and using data to drive continuous improvement.

Who You Are

You bring:

  • 4–6 years of experience in Learning & Development, People Operations, or a related field, including 3+ years in a manager-level role.

  • A strong track record leading onboarding programs or major cross-functional learning initiatives.

  • Project management expertise, with the ability to lead complex initiatives across multiple teams.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities with ease.

  • Instructional design knowledge, with hands-on experience in:

    • LMS platforms (e.g., Litmos, Lessonly)

    • HRIS tools (e.g., Rippling)

    • Project management and delivery platforms

  • A deep understanding of adult learning principles and how to build scalable, measurable, and engaging content.

  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills, with experience running workshops and mentoring emerging leaders.

  • High emotional intelligence, strong interpersonal communication, and active listening skills.

  • Technical fluency in tools like:

    • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

    • Slack, Google Forms, and HRIS systems like Rippling

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.

Bonus Points For

  • Certification in coaching, instructional design, or project management (e.g., CPLP, PMP, ICF Coaching)

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth, or start-up environment

Remote Salary Range$65,000—$77,000 USD
