Pay Range

USD $112,640.00 - USD $140,800.00 /Yr.

Overview

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking a Lean Portfolio Manager, EPMO to join our team!

 

The Lean Portfolio Manager, EPMO is a highly collaborative role responsible for managing portfolio epics and developing business cases. The Lean Portfolio Manager, EPMO partners with key stakeholders to identify, define, and refine epics and to articulate value and benefits to the organization. Additionally, the Lean Portfolio Manager, EPMO will guide epics through the various stages of Portfolio Management and partner with Release Train Engineers, Enterprise Architecture, Business Leads, and agile delivery teams to initiate the development activities necessary to ensure the value of the epic is realized.

Responsibilities

How do I make an impact on my team? 

  • Support the intake of new project epics to ensure they are properly vetted and triaged prior to submission to the governance oversight process. Provide support, as needed, to the EPMO throughout the project prioritization and portfolio balancing processes
  • Facilitate the business case development for proposed epics
  • Facilitate post-epic benefit tracking and reporting process across the project portfolio
  • Facilitate resource utilization data and help forecast future resource capacity
  • Organize and coordinate programs and provide strategic guidance to assigned teams, project managers and SCRUM masters
  • Monitor benefits realization and track the achievement of a portfolio’s strategic goals
  • Identify, document, and coordinate cross-portfolio dependencies; work with the EPMO/Delivery to assist in prioritization across projects
  • In partnership with RTE’s ensures issues, risks and decisions are visible across enterprise portfolios
  • Support relentless improvements necessary to improve the flow of value from Portfolio and Program down through the Agile delivery teams
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What our team expects from you?

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, finance, project management or related field, with seven (7) years equivalent work experience
  • Scrum Master or Product Owner Certification
  • Additional project management certification encouraged
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge and/or certification desirable
  • Seven (7) years’ experience managing complex, high-risk, and high-visibility projects, and programs
  • Proven experience executing successful project management standards within a complex organization and/or various IT domains (infrastructure, DevOps, cybersecurity, etc.)
  • 3-5 years management experience with at least 3 years leading project management function. Demonstrated achievement, and progressive management responsibilities
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, VersionOne, Rally, Azure DevOps
  • Experience working within an Enterprise PMO, facilitating governance processes, and oversight/steering committee
  • Health insurance or pharmacy benefits management industry experience is preferred
  • Lean Portfolio Management Certification preferred
  • Agile Transformation preferred
  • Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives
