Who We Are

Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries is currently seeking a motivated Training Rep 5 to join our team! The Training Rep 5 Lead Instructional Systems Specialist is responsible for developing programs of instruction in occupational specialties or fields. The selected candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in the development of training programs and will be responsible for leading a team of instructional designers and trainers. The selected candidate will work closely with management and other stakeholders to identify training needs and develop training programs that meet those needs.

What You Will Do

  • Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel.
  • Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
  • Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques.
  • Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments.
