Lead Sustainable Mobility Specialist

ICF is seeking a Lead Sustainable Mobility Specialist professional to lead strategic transportation and mobility plans in support of our public sector clients, including state departments of transportation, regional MPOs and Councils of Governments, local governments, such as cities or county congestion management agencies, and transportation management associations.

The Lead Sustainable Mobility Specialist professional will provide program/project management and operational support for the

Transportation Sustainable Mobility practice for various projects, including:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential clients throughout the country.
  • Assisting clients with identifying strategies to address mobility needs.
  • Guiding clients with implementing recommended sustainable transportation solutions
  • Managing project teams, schedules, and budgets
  • Leading meetings with clients, as part of project and schedule management,
  • Facilitating stakeholder meetings and workshops (both in person and virtually)
  • Supporting capture/business development in California or other parts of the country
  • Provide support with proposals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Transportation, Business, and Economics and related fields
  • 5+ years’ experience in project management in the field of Sustainable Transportation/Mobility Planning and/or transportation demand management

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with changing travel behaviors through transportation demand management, sustainability, mobility, and/or the environment is desired.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and effective and efficient organization capabilities
  • Ability to manage on-time activity reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Experience supporting marketing or technology development efforts.
  • Advanced MS Office and software skills, managing Excel spreadsheets and Power Point presentations.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to collaborate with Team members and well as the ability to work independently, in-person and virtually.
  • Experience participating in prospecting efforts with little training or guidance.

Frequent contacts with clients or vendors at various management levels requires the ability to provide advice and discuss sensitive/complex information. Conducts briefings and participates in meetings for internal and external representatives concerning specific operations.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$84,533.00 - $143,706.00
