About the role:
For a journey this exciting and complex, we are looking for an experienced Mainframe Software Engineer who can design, develop, support, and analyze large scale applications and systems. The successful candidate will have strong technical and problem-solving skills, and will show initiative, be accepting of responsibility and be accountable for results.

What do you need to succeed?
- A Lead Software Engineer with the ability to deliver the analysis, design, development, and implementation of solutionsĀ
- An effective communicator who will utilize their technical knowledge to lead technical discussions with stakeholders and external technical partners in a manner that ensures understanding of risks, options, and overall solutionsĀ
- A collaborative team member who continuously strives to improve the client experience, our team, and our processesĀ
- Someone who keeps current with trends in emerging technologies and how they could apply to Sun LifeĀ
- Ideally, weāll also get somebody with one or more of the following:Ā
- 10+ yearsā progressive information technology experience with full application development life cycle and systems integration experience
- Keen appetite for learning relevant technologies and for continuous ā¦
