Your Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of workforce experience applications
- Provide technical direction to the engineering team, ensuring best practices in coding, SDLC, and Agile methodologies
- Drive end-to-end development, from inception to production, with a focus on performance and scalability
- Leverage Azure and GCP for cloud-based application development and deployment
- Ensure applications are built with monitoring, alerting, and logging capabilities for reliability
- Conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and foster a culture of continuous improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Participate in the Technical Review Board alongside managers and principal engineers
Skills & Experience You Should Possess
- 8–10 years of experience in software development, with expertise in building applications and services from scratch
- Proven experience leading engineering teams and driving the full SDLC to deliver production-ready applications
- Strong expertise in cloud technologies, particularly Azure and GCP
- Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines)
- Strong background in microservices architecture and containerization
- Experience with Agile methodologies and collaborative development environments (Jira, Azure Boards, SharePoint)
- Knowledge of observability tools for logging, monitoring, and alerting
