Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $106,700.00 - $177,900.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

Cox Communications is searching for a Lead Product Manager. This role discovers, develops, and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements to existing products or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Compiles and evaluates research on the market's product requirements and identifies enhancements to current features and functionality. Establishes product specifications and coordinates with various functions including engineering, manufacturing, marketing and sales, to ensure successful product development and implementation.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Provides Product Management support for broader and more complex products and features within an assigned product area or customer base.

  • Partners with marketing research, client solutions and business stakeholders to observe and solicit feedback from consumers and clients.

  • Manages more complex aspects of existing products / product lines within stable markets.

  • Engages with cross-functional stakeholders and business partners

  • Evaluates customer / market / financial data, identifies emerging patterns, trends and problems and recommends strategies and approaches for resolution.

  • Collaborates cross-functionally to evaluate opportunities with a promise of positive product / product line impact.

  • Recommends and helps implement Product Management’s process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience

  • Expert in SAFe methodologies

  • Recent SAFe certifications and/or certified coach.

  • Experience in forming and running an Agile Release Train.

  • Experience in planning and managing work through a system like Azure DevOps

  • Working knowledge of engineering or related disciplines and processes

  • Demonstrated problem solving and analytical thinking skills.


Preferred:

  • Experience in telecommunications industry desired.

  • Network Automation experience strongly desired.

  • Experience working in an Agile Release Train Engineer Capacity
