About the Role

 

Fivetran is building data pipelines to power the modern data stack for thousands of companies.

To support Fivetran’s continued growth, we are building and optimizing a Self Service Motion/PLG user experience in order to automate as much revenue as possible when acquiring, activating, and expanding our smaller customers. We’re looking for a Lead, PLG Marketing who will set and drive the multi-channel marketing strategy for Fivetran’s Self Service Motion.

You will lead cross-functional teams in delivering on that strategy, working closely with Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Operations teams to drive user acquisition, conversion, adoption, usage, retention, and expansion.

In this role, you’ll join a small-but-mighty, high-impact, and high-visibility PLG leadership team. Our PLG leadership team is data-driven, always has a pulse on new areas of opportunity, and breaks down silos to test, learn, and iterate as quickly as possible.

This is a full-time position based out of our Denver, CO or Oakland, CA offices or remotely in the US.

What You’ll Do

 

  • Support the vision and direction for PLG marketing by developing and delivering the strategy for multi-channel lifecycle programs to drive engagement, adoption, and retention for signups, free plan, and self-service customers. 
  • Continuously test, monitor, and refine marketing programs to increase conversion, customer engagement and growth. You will be responsible for designing and developing the product led motion from acquisition to activation, onboarding, usage, monetization and expansion including determining the right activities that accelerate top of funnel acquisition and high conversion rates from each phase to the next.
  • Collaborate to mobilize resources from our global marketing teams, including PR, social media, digital marketing, field marketing, product marketing, and operations.
  • Work closely with Analytics and Data Science teams to identify new segments, drive program and funnel conversion, and optimize the customer journey.
