About You

We are looking for an experienced Lead Flutter Developer for our mobile app development team. This role will report to the Vice President of Engineering and manage one or more contract developers. This role will support go live for our public release for iOS and Android devices, ongoing development, along with support and maintenance. The ideal candidate possesses both a breadth and depth of knowledge for full software development lifecycle, coding standards, code reviews, and testing. We are looking for someone who is a strong communicator, both verbally and in writing, and who will take a positive You have a positive approach, working on a team that invests in each other both personally and professionally. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead mobile app development through launch, in partnership with business partners, product team and the rest of the mobile app development team
  • Collaborate closely with backend, front end, and product teams to build the mobile app, ensuring the proper level of unit tests are written by the dev team
  • Work with project and product teams to help plan sprints, do retrospectives, and strategize on the technical roadmap
  • Own the development and deployment of the app to production
  • Work closely with our vendor to understand architecture/design and transition app development in house over time
  • Review vendor code, ensure sound development principles, processes, tools and workflows have been applied and high quality, readable and maintainable code …
