The focus of this position is to lead Projects, mentor, and provide training for the Technology Integrations Team. The Technology Integration team implements Office Integrations, M365 migrations, Application migrations, and Office moves, closures, and consolidation projects. This role is required to travel throughout the US, Canada, and the UK to oversee large projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide updates and feedback on team performance to the Management.
- Work with Integration Engineers to efficiently plan their workday and complete documentation, project plan updates, and customer correspondence.
- Work with vendors to obtain quotes and assist Engineers with developing migration plans and deployment runbooks.
- Attend weekly Telco meetings to identify internet circuit requirements.
- Train engineers to follow standards when configuring networking equipment, monitoring systems, servers, and physical workstation setups.
- Accompany new engineers on Site surveys, integrations, and move projects to ensure that they are following proper procedures.
- Attend monthly reviews with the Application management team to document new application deployments and vendor support information.
- Meet with engineers regularly to help resolve conflicts and contribute to a collaborative atmosphere.
- Attend regular meetings with the Netops and Core Engineering teams to review and update integration processes to align with System standards.
- Attend the weekly CAB meetings to request vendor account access and explain the purpose of the access.
- Attend weekly MMD and Device Mgmt meetings to track MMD enhancements and application packaging projects.
- Represent the Integration team for Service Now Change management processes.
- Work with DevOps and NetOps teams to deploy solutions for corporate users.
- Work with the Netops team to ensure that equipment orders get processed on time.
- Work with the Azure and SQL teams to migrate on premise applications onto the corporate cloud.
- Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions and implement those fixes.
- Maintain security, backup, and business continuity strategies.
- Provide escalation support for the technology team.
- Work with the Email migration team to manage vendors like MDS, HSO, and Microsoft.
- Identify area's for improvement and develop quarterly training plans for Engineer development.
- Provide peer reviews to ensure that Engineers are following technology standards and procedures.
- Assist with reviewing resumes, interviewing, onboarding, offboarding, and training Engineers.
- Assist with complex integration projects, delegate tasks, and conduct weekly team meetings.
- Commit to continual process improvement by adjusting processes to support new corporate initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to lead a team with confidence, assertiveness, clarity, and purpose to align with the strategic initiatives of the company.
- Knowledge of Windows Server 2012/2016/2019, Windows 10, Active Directory, Azure, GPOs, and Intune.
- Advanced knowledge of networking (OSI model, TCP/IP), Switches, Routers, Firewalls, and LAN/WAN routing at L3.
- Advanced and broad technical knowledge of IT Hardware and Software systems.
- Maintain equipment inventory and understand best practices on networking and server equipment regarding patching and life cycle management.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a professional manner.
- Ability to work with minimal direction, multitask, organize, and prioritize projects.
- Ability to work with a Distributed team who are in the US, Canada, and the UK.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and concisely at multiple levels between business, internal IT staff, vendors, and management.
- Solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of applications.
- Experience with virtualization (VMWare).
- Understanding of monitoring systems (PRTG, Nagios).
- Experience with Backup and Replication systems (Backup Exec, Double-Take, RecoverPoint, Veeam).
- Scripting experience is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of migration tools such as Mover.io, AvePoint, Syncovery, and Quest.
- Microsoft Exchange or O365 Migration and troubleshooting experience.
- Outstanding time management and problem-solving skills.
- End-user Training experience.
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills in Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, Visio, and SharePoint.
- Comfortable with using Project Management tools such as Smartsheet and MS Project.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Network/Computer engineering, or related field (Preferred, not required).
- 12+ years' experience in Systems administration or consulting role in a Microsoft, Cisco, or Fortinet based infrastructure.
- Experience working with a Managed Service Provider to deliver technology solutions to clients by understanding budget and system functionality requirements.
- Valid Driver's license and Passport.
- Travel to US, UK, and Canadian based projects to oversee productivity.
- Due to travel requirements, we prefer vaccination for COVID 19.
Certificates, Licenses, Registration:
- One or more of the following certifications are preferred: Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, or security related.

The base salary range for this position is $105,000 – $150,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
