Job Summary
Strategic Analytics is a growing team at Arch that has established itself as a driving force in how the business is run. This is achieved through the implementation of real-time predictive analytic solutions that move the company forward. Our track record is 100% adoption of our tools and services. We create best-in-class data solutions from internal and external sources by leveraging a diverse set of cloud technologies like Snowflake, the Azure tech stack, Databricks and Python.


As a lead on the implementation engineering team, you will develop cutting edge solutions that put analytics at the heart of decision-making. You will work closely with other members of the Strategic Analytics team on high-profile analytics projects that drive business strategies. As a key member of the implementation engineering team, you will extend our capacity to deliver and push the team forward.

Responsibilities

  • Developing and Implementing API Strategy: Create and maintain API strategy that aligns with the business's overall objectives. This strategy should outline how to enhance existing systems and integrate new ones with external third-party APIs
  • API Design and Development: Establish API protocols and standards, develop API architectures, and collaborate with other stakeholders to integrate APIs into existing systems. Develop integrations with internal and external API systems.
  • API Documentation: Maintain Confluence documentation for API development processes, code, and revisions
  • API Security: Implement proper security protocols and work with cybersecurity team to address potential threats
  • Monitoring and Maintenance: Continuously monitor the performance of APIs, troubleshoot any issues, and ensure that APIs are regularly updated and maintained.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate with various stakeholders, including developers, IT teams, and business leaders, about the role of APIs in achieving business objectives.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to other team members on how to use APIs effectively. They also provide technical support for any API-related issues.
  • Vendor Management: Responsible for managing technical relationships with third-party vendors
  • Market Research: Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in the API space and suggest ways to leverage these trends for the benefit of the business.
