Our technology platform utilizes sensors, GPS tracking, and highly engaged partner haulers to provide waste management and recycling services and track materials from their source to recycling and composting facilities. Our sustainability experts analyze the data generated by the platform to help our customers make tangible improvements to their waste management and recycling efforts. Ultimately, we are innovating to treat waste as a component material for other products in the circular economy so that as little as possible is deposited into landfills or incinerators.  



What we need: 

We're looking for a motivated and curious individual who’s ready to grow their career in sales. As a Lead Generator / Business Development Representative key role in identifying new opportunities and starting conversations with potential customers. If you’re driven, eager to learn, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you. Ideal for someone eager to advance in sales, with access to the resources and guidance needed to succeed. You’ll work remotely, have access to a strong comp structure, and gain exposure to experienced sales professionals as you grow.

What you will be doing: 

  • Generate and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
  • Research and identify new business opportunities across various industries
  • Conduct discovery and qualification calls with potential customers to understand their needs
  • Book meetings and set appointments for the sales team
  • Maintain accurate lead data, notes, and follow-ups in the CRM system
  • Support marketing-led campaigns by promptly following up on inbound leads
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to align on outreach strategies
  • Stay informed on market trends and share competitive insights with the team
  • Represent the company at virtual meetings or industry events when needed
  • Take on other projects or tasks as assigned to support sales goals

  

Is this you? 

“Must Have” Skills/Experience: 

  • At least 2 years of proven success in lead generation, sales, or outbound prospecting roles
  • Clear written and verbal fluency in English
  • Motivated by goals and metrics, with a drive to exceed expectations
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organization and time management abilities
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
  • Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to track leads and activities
  • Ability to handle objections and stay resilient in the face of rejection
  • High emotional intelligence: you’re empathetic, open-minded, and adaptable

 

 “Nice to Have” Skills/Experience: 

  • Fluency in French is an asset;
  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Prior B2B experience in a sales, customer outreach, or prospecting role
  • Experience working with outbound sales tools or automation platforms
  • Experience in industries such as outsourced services, brokerage, or logistics is a plus
