The Lead - Financial Systems Analyst plays a key role in supporting and enhancing St. Jude's financial systems and technologies. This role involves collaborating with finance and IT teams to optimize financial processes, troubleshoot system issues, and implement upgrades.

Job Responsibilities:
- Independently lead Financial Systems systems projects, including selection, planning, organization, testing, training, customizations and communication of new systems and technology solutions.
- Contribute to the development and vision of strategies for departments in partnership with key stakeholders, and Finance peers.
- Serve as an advocate and liaison between Finance users/customers and IT support and vendors or other technical support for Financial systems.
- Identify and analyze problems/issues and assist in implementing solutions; Simplify and summarize complicated processes, procedures and issues for a more lay audience.
- Update and maintain dashboards based upon agreed upon timelines; Reviews trends, communicates concerns and makes suggestions for improvements and metric for dashboards.
- Ensure documentation for assigned financial systems and projects are updated and maintained, including minutes, contracts and other documents outside of standard procedures and training.
- Collaborate with all areas of Financial Services to facilitate timely project completion; Continuously seek ways to improve existing processes to fit with evolving requests from the business.
- Mentor team members to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet the goals and objectives of the department and institution.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Minimum Education and/or Training:
- Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum Requirement: 5+ years of healthcare-related experience in a financial setting required
- Minimum Requirement: Experience with Workday Payroll (i.e. Workday conversion and implementation, and/or several years of designing, building, testing Payroll configuration and in Workday)
- Strong experience with Financial Systems and practices as well as related processes & terminology.
- Some experience in planning and managing delivery in collaboration with cross-functional teams including mid to senior-level business leaders.
- Experience with enterprise reporting tools for development of reports as applicable.
- Uses deep understanding of financial systems, tools and processes.
- Deep skills in closing and advanced financial reporting and analyses; strong grasp of reporting standards.
- Manages technically complex accounting and reporting issues/ processes.
- Develops documentation, procedures and instructions.
Compensation
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $94,640 - $169,520 per year for the role of Lead-Financial Systems Analyst.Explore our exceptional benefits!
