Job Description SummaryThe Lead Finance Analyst – Commercial Finance partners with Product General Managers and their teams to drive business initiatives, growth, strategy, and profitability for the Molecular Imaging (MI) segment within Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx). Reporting to the MI Finance Director, this role is responsible for supporting commercial execution and meeting financial commitments for all products across the portfolio, including newly launched PET products, which are a top priority for PDx and GE Healthcare.

Pharmaceutical Diagnostics (PDx) is the leading global supplier of contrast media and molecular imaging agents used to enhance medical imaging exams. PDx products support three patients every second worldwide, across all major disease area diagnostic and treatment pathways. Molecular Imaging is a strategic business unit for PDx, with significant growth potential for enabling precision health. We have a foundation of established proprietary products and plan to build on this with the development and launch of an innovative pipeline of products aimed at improving diagnostic decisions and clinical outcomes in areas such as Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, cardiology, and oncology. The US market features three novel PET tracers on a high growth trajectory, alongside well-established SPECT tracers.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support Product General Managers and their teams to drive operating performance and strategic initiatives within the organization.

  • Drive commercial analytics for products, including new product introductions (NPIs), pricing, gross margins, cost optimization, and process simplification.

  • Monitor and stay updated on market practices, industry trends, regulatory changes, and economic factors that could affect negotiations and execution, aiding in commercial decision-making.

  • Support and partner with the Supply Chain and demand planning team in driving the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process from a finance perspective, understanding customer demand, inventory dynamics, and contributing to capacity/production planning.

  • Lead and partner with the Finance Director and Commercial team on long-term strategy and budgeting.

  • Partner with global finance teams (FP&A, Controllership) to support key initiatives in finance, enabling better decision support and simplification.

  • Drive monthly/quarterly close, actual performance reporting to finance and commercial teams, and pricing and sales analytics.

  • Develop and improve financial processes, including finance reporting tools, management reporting tools, and budgeting and estimating processes.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 4 years of Commercial FP&A experience.

  • Ability to document, plan, and execute with established project management skills.

  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to assess various complex issues simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

  • Experience and comfort in a matrix environment.

  • Ability to work independently and without supervision.

  • Competency in data analysis, building Excel reports and presentations, and experience with financial systems/applications. Strong Excel skills in data compilation and aggregation.

For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $100,800.00-$151,200.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
