This position is part of the Information Technology Department located in Brea, CA. This role will be Remote with up to 20% travel, as needed.  At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.

You will be a part of the Global Information Security team and report to the Chief Information Security Officer responsible for protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Beckman-Coulter information assets. In this Individual Contributor role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide Information Protection-related guidance and recommendations to internal stakeholders and work closely with them to review, recommend, and architect security technologies in line with the Beckman information security program.
  • Implement Information Protection solutions across the business and perform hands-on tier-3 support for security technologies as needed.
  • Collaborate with Danaher Corporate and Beckman Information Security teams to drive large, complex Information Security projects, manage resources effectively and provide timely updates to Management.
  • Ensure adherence to information security best practices, industry standards, and corporate policies and procedures, Information Security analysis and provide metrics and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate Information Security technical documentation as well as reviews and updates of existing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all audit requirements , change control procedures and data security.

The essential requirements of the job include: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or an equivalent combination of education and training with 9+ years of demonstrated experience in information security.
