Lead Back-End Developer (PHP/node.js) (Socialedge, Inc. dba CreatorIQ; Culver City, California): Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the back-end components of web applications by leveraging a strong command of server-side technologies such as PHP, Node.js, and Golang. Work on the architectural design of the back-end systems, including database structures, APIs, and server infrastructure. This includes making decisions about which technologies and frameworks are best suited for the project. Writing efficient, clean, and scalable code. This may involve building RESTful APIs, creating and optimizing database queries, and implementing various features and functionalities. Oversee Staff Software Developer. This involves providing technical guidance, reviewing code, and mentoring through effective communication and team collaboration. Ensure that the back-end systems are performant and scalable. This may include load testing, optimizing code for speed and efficiency, and implementing caching mechanisms. Leverage a good understanding of security vulnerabilities and how to mitigate them to implement security best practices to protect the system from potential threats. Manage and optimize databases (SQL or NoSQL). This includes data modeling, query optimization, and ensuring data integrity. Integrate with third-party services and APIs to extend the application's functionality. Maintain thorough documentation for the code and systems for team collaboration and future reference. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure that the back-end development aligns with the project's goals and timeline. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in back-end development and related technologies.
