Lead - Analytics Communication and Change Management

Our Analytics Services team is growing, and we are looking for a Lead Analytics Communication and Change Management to partner across the institution to ensure the appropriate information is available to drive decision-making and support institutional needs. This role will work closely with Analytics leaders and teams to support our program mission of providing access to timely, accurate, and insightful information to drive informed decision-making.

You are passionate about working with data and analytics stakeholders and partner teams to develop and maintain instructional and informational content, tools, and protocols to support institution-wide data-informed culture and institution-wide communication of analytics applications, tools, solutions, and assets. This role, as part of the data and analytics program and project development process, creates documentation that may include such things as where and how to access an application, background development of a tool, overview of the application, data sources, limitations of the solution, key measures, intended use and examples of planned improvements. This person will also play a vital role in the successful communication and adoption of information about data and analytics products, tools, and enhancements and must apply organizational change management strategies and methods to meet program and project goals. This person will focus on the people side of operating a data and analytics program – including changes to processes, systems and technology, job roles and organizational structures. A key focus will be creating and implementing analytics projects’ change management and communication plans that minimize end-user resistance and maximize user engagement to drive faster adoption of analytics tools, greater data utilization to answer questions, and higher proficiency of analytics and information to support a data-informed culture.

Some regular responsibilities might look like, but are not limited to,
- Collaborate with data and analytics program leaders, partner team end-users, institutional leadership, and subject matter experts to develop and execute data and analytics communication strategies that support the growth and maintenance of a data-informed culture.
- Develop and maintain a consistent, coherent look and feel of data and analytics’ written communications and documentation.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of communications and analytics partner team campaigns, adjusting strategy and tactics accordingly.
- Work closely with institutional communications, organizational development, and strategic communications team to develop data and analytics organizational change management plans around communications, training, and coaching; support execution/implementation of these plans.
- Support and carry out the design, development, delivery, and management of communications for the data and analytics program and individual projects
- Utilize a diverse and engaging mix of communication materials such as intranet content, emails, surveys, newsletters, announcements, brochures, and other informational content.
- Develop and execute on tactical communication plans for Analytics Services and any initiatives sponsored by the Analytics Program.
- Support data and analytics project teams in integrating change management activities into their project plans.
- Apply change management processes and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of data and analytics processes and policies.
- Any additional duties as they are assigned by their Manager/Supervisor.
You’re going to need
Minimum Education and/or Training:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, mass media, or other communication-intensive fields required.
- Master's degree or PhD preferred.
Minimum Experience:
- Minimum Requirement: 5+ years of experience in marketing, public relations, mass media, or related experience.
- Demonstrated experience in business communications, journalism, PR, communications in healthcare environment or analytics, and change management.
- Experience working within various facets of a healthcare organization and/or analytics operations.
- Thorough understanding of how people go through change and the change process.
- Practical experience in applying knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, tools, interventions, and solutions.
- Ability to work effectively at all levels in an organization as well as the ability to work with cross-functional teams on large complex projects.
- Proficiency in SharePoint, and mastery of Microsoft Suite.
- Expertise in developing engaging and visually appealing presentations using PowerPoint, along with proficiency in graphic design tools to enhance visual storytelling.
- Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal – and the ability to use those communication skills to influence others to move toward a common vision or goal.
- Some experience in stakeholder management.
- Proven performance in earlier role.

- The ability to facilitate working sessions and meetings with a demonstrated track record of getting results and holding contributors accountable for action items between meetings.
- Defines scope and milestones clearly with a clear understanding of institutional priorities, overall program objectives and forecasting future requirements.
- Has working knowledge of project management and planning tools.
- Can effectively sequence and prioritize tasks within projects and create project reports with limited guidance.
- Understands and tracks dependencies, risks, and schedules and escalates in case of issues.
- Possesses a broad understanding of project activities and processes, and the ability to apply a structured organizational change management approach and methodology to help ease the impact to personnel.
- Must be a team player and a consistent, dependable performer with excellent work ethic, flexible “can-do” attitude, and a results-driven commitment to success.
Compensation
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $78,000 - $139,360 per year for the role of Lead - Analytics Communication and Change Management.Explore our exceptional benefits!
