Job Summary

Comcasts advertising division, Effectv, is growing its Insights & Analytics team and we’re looking for a motivated, high-impact candidate to help define, shape, and create a set of measurement and attribution solutions for our advertising clients. As Lead Analyst, you will work cross-functionally with various internal and external stakeholders to enable innovative measurement across Comcast’s advertising platforms. Acting in a SME capacity, you will have the opportunity to spearhead proof-of-concept work through testing and leveraging 3P solutions in conjunction with internal capabilities. We are looking for candidates who are analytically minded, have excellent communication skills, and are passionate about the video advertising landscape.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

  • Subject matter expert in advertising measurement and attribution domains. This includes knowledge of models and methodologies utilized, as well as the various vendors and technologies that power the ad measurement ecosystem.

  • Engages with sales and account leadership to understand client objectives, and how measurement and attribution can help solve for them.
  • Utilizes big data querying techniques, while structuring and pulling data from various sources.
  • Identifies current measurement gaps and defines business requirements for solutions needed but not yet supported.
  • Spearheads innovative (Proof of Concept) measurement solutions, tracks client adoption, and works with internal product and engineering teams on automation and productization.
  • Identifies, examines, tests, and enables 3rd party measurement and attribution vendors.
  • Trains internal and external stakeholders on how best to utilize our measurement solutions, with a focus on actionability and optimization.
  • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

  • Job Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, engineering, economics, computer science, or another quantitative field.
  • Strong analytical background and experience in extracting insights and operating with large data sets to identify trends and actionable takeaways.
  • Advertising experience required. AdTech experience preferred but not required.
  • Expertise in SQL and Excel required.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and BI tools (i.e. Tableau,  Power BI, Looker, Python, R, etc.).
  • Experience working within cloud infrastructures (i.e. AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Great written and verbal communicator.

Compensation

National Pay Range: $75,441.17 USD-$176,815.23 USD

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
