L3 Certification Analyst / EMV Software Tester

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated EMV Level 3 Certifications Analyst / EMV Software Tester to coordinate and execute payment software certifications with financial and non-financial acquiring institutions. This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders; acquirer analysts, development teams, and 3rd party payment device integrators. The analyst will be responsible for overseeing certification projects, completing certification tests, and managing project documentation.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate has a solid background in software testing, or EMV certification testing. They are detail-oriented, possess strong problem-solving skills, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Their keen eye for detail allows them to catch issues before they impact users. With excellent communication and collaboration skills, they work seamlessly with internal and external stakeholders including acquirer analysts, payment device integrators, developers and product owners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage certification projects, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance.
  • Accurately interpret and and execute certification tests provided by the financial institutions 
  • Collaborate with development teams, and analysts from financial institutions  to resolve issues from certification testing.
  • Record key project data and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Maintain communication with stakeholders and provide timely project updates.

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strong organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Writing unit tests in common development language such as C#, Java, PHP
  • Proficiency in test tools such as Postman, JIRA, and automated test frameworks.
  • ISTQB certification is desirable but not mandatory.
