Overview

As a know your client (KYC) Client Onboarding Specialist, you will perform due diligence of new and/or existing clients covering a wide range of different client types. You will verify KYC documentation and perform risk assessments of the Client to be adopted, bringing together a clear and well-documented Client file in line with the Bank's KYC standards. You will conduct honest and independent four-eye quality control checks for client adoption/onboarding in compliance with global/local regulations and jurisdictions, and Deutsche Bank's KYC Policy and Key Operating Standard (KOS) in accordance with Deutsche Bank’s Client Risk Rating methodology. In addition, you will be responsible for identifying themes for re-work, and works together with other KYC Analysts, Case Managers and Business partners to deliver feedback to them in a style that will enable them to learn and grow and move towards a higher level of 'first time right' file completions.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct client adoption/onboarding in compliance with global/local regulations and jurisdictions, and Deutsche Bank's KYC Policy and Key Operating Standard (KOS) by ensuring file conclusions are clearly presented, and re-work aspects have been addressed and solved for

  • Use internal and external systems and tools to gather information to undertake a risk-based assessment of clients based on identification, plausibility, validation, and verification of client information in accordance with the intended nature of business, purpose of relationship, and source of funds

  • Understand due diligence regulations, policies, and procedures, and conducts quality control checks for KYC due diligence checks of clients to ensure adherence to evolving regulatory guidelines and internal KOS and KYC Policy

  • Perform end to end case movements without requiring additional 4 eye checks

  • Conduct honest and independent four-eye quality control checks for client adoption/onboarding in compliance with global/local regulations and jurisdictions, and Deutsche Bank's KYC Policy and Key Operating Standard (KOS) in accordance with Deutsche Bank’s Client Risk Rating methodology

Skills You’ll Need

  • Relevant KYC/ anti-money laundering (AML) experience and knowledge of the regulatory requirements such as FATCA, MIFID, EMIR etc. from a new account opening standpoint

  • Extensive knowledge of all CB product onboarding requirements and KYC event types including New Client Adoptions, New Client Location, New Fund Adoption, New Product Extension, New Product Accounts, Guarantors, Baseline Due Diligence and Non-client adoptions

  • Ability to work and face off business where required to explain KYC requirements and ability to support extended working hours to support onboarding for short-fuse deals

  • Risk mindset and ability to raise issues and concerns on client KYC risk management; including current checker certification or ability to qualify within 6 months of assuming role

  • Good handle on data and basics of MS office Pivots, Excel, and PowerPoint

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The Analyst salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $40,000 to $62,750.

The Associate salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $48,000 to $68,800.

Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
