About the Agency:

Are you interested in helping improve the legitimacy, effectiveness and efficiency of state and local criminal justice systems?

The Oregon Criminal Justice Commission (CJC) serves as a centralized and impartial forum for statewide policy development and planning related to public safety statewide.  The Programs Team delivers over $100 million in grant funding each biennium to implement and further a range of innovative programs including prison diversion efforts, treatment courts, restorative justice initiatives, and services for individuals with behavioral health challenges.  CJC is also the primary research agency for state criminal justice data.  This creates a unique atmosphere of 35 professionals working to advance public safety in Oregon.

About the Job:

Your Role:

This position works as part of CJC’s Programs Team to lead multiple statewide grant programs designed to help counties offer community-based interventions as alternatives to incarceration.  Working as the Justice Reinvestment Program Manager offers opportunities to learn about and influence public safety efforts throughout Oregon.  Areas of focus include prison diversion, community supervision and treatment courts, as well as services for victims/survivors of crime and culturally responsive services for justice-involved individuals.

The right person for this position is an effective team leader, with professional program management experience, the ability to evaluate and explain data, and excellent people skills.

As a part of our team, you will help lead Oregon toward a future where every aspect of the criminal justice system is equitable, efficient, and worthy of confidence.
