The Junior Technical Specialist provides support in the development and implementation of projects aimed at enhancing community resilience and mitigating risks. The ideal candidate has experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, as well as possessing strong analytical and communication skills.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Provide technical assistance in the planning, design, and implementation of projects.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support project objectives and decision-making processes.
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, proposals, and documentation in compliance with internal and client guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, planners, and other specialists, to ensure project success.
- Ensure all project activities comply with federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
- Support the coordination and management of project tasks, schedules, and deliverables.
- Assist in engaging with stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and the public, to gather input and provide project updates.
- Participate in risk assessment activities to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation and records.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
