Junior Analyst, Payer Management

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Independently perform payer reimbursement data analysis, AR analysis, and ad hoc reports for the Payer Management Team. 30%
- Obtain, document, and have a detailed knowledge of payer relationships including onboarding requirements and specialized client needs. 10%
- Research and develop benefit setup, accumulators, and override policies. 10%
- Collaborate with Payer Management Analysts and Revenue Cycle Management as appropriate. 10%
- Detailed knowledge of payer policy guidelines, payer management and claims processes. 5%
- Work with internal partners to answer inquiries and resolve account issues.
- They will work with Subject Matter Experts and management from the following Teladoc teams to maximize, processes, and revenue: 10%
- Revenue Cycle Management.
- Payer Management Analysts
- Performs payer audits and monitors Payer Management issues. 15%
- Proactively manage and prioritize analysis and facilitation activities. This includes managing outstanding tickets to ensure they are up to date to and current. 5%
- Other duties as assigned. 5%
This position requires a knowledge of Teladoc’s Whole Care Solutions, products, and services.

Qualifications Expected for Position
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 Experience with various healthcare structures (Medicare, Medicaid, HMO and PPO preferred.)
- Experience in Telehealth preferred.
- Motivated self-starter and excellent time management.
- Written and oral communication skills as appropriate to effectively communicate the needs of the business and clients.
- Strong critical thinking and business judgement to use logic to identify issues, alternative solutions, and approaches to drive accurate conclusion to complex problems.
- Detail oriented, organized, and flexible individual that can perform multiple tasks with varying priorities.
- Effective Listening for complex communications from providers, clients, and internal partners.
- Experience working with business users, technical teams as well as payers.
- Expertise in relevant business software and Windows environments (Excel, PPT, Word, Visio).
- Successful in multi-tasking.
- Ability to use Teladoc’s resources to research complex Payer issues.
- Quality Focused.
- Team Oriented.

The base salary range for this position is $60,000.00-$65,000.00. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here Teladoc Health Benefits 2025. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications. This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
