Jr. ServiceNow Developer (Mostly Remote) - Bethesda, MD
Salary: $80,000 - 90,000/yearThis position allows for 4 days per week remote / work from home. As a Junior ServiceNow Developer supporting the NIH, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and workflows to meet the specific needs of our clients. You will work closely with a team of developers, analysts, and project managers to ensure the successful implementation and support of ServiceNow solutions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design custom solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
- Develop and configure ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows based on best practices and industry standards.
- Customize ServiceNow UI components, forms, and layouts to enhance user experience and functionality.
- Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications using APIs, web services, and scripting languages.
- Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of ServiceNow applications to ensure quality and reliability.
- Create technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for ServiceNow solutions.
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements for ServiceNow applications post-implementation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of IT service management concepts and principles.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, including scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript), UI customization, and application configuration.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and other ServiceNow modules is a plus.
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
