Jr. ServiceNow Developer (Mostly Remote) - Bethesda, MD

Salary: $80,000 - 90,000/yearThis position allows for 4 days per week remote / work from home. As a Junior ServiceNow Developer supporting the NIH, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications and workflows to meet the specific needs of our clients. You will work closely with a team of developers, analysts, and project managers to ensure the successful implementation and support of ServiceNow solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design custom solutions within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Develop and configure ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows based on best practices and industry standards.
  • Customize ServiceNow UI components, forms, and layouts to enhance user experience and functionality.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with other systems and applications using APIs, web services, and scripting languages.
  • Perform testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of ServiceNow applications to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Create technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for ServiceNow solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements for ServiceNow applications post-implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management concepts and principles.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, including scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript), UI customization, and application configuration.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and other ServiceNow modules is a plus.
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
