Overview
As a Junior System Architect, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary agile scrum team building, maintaining, and enhancing Pega applications that support NIH’s mission. Pega is a new technology to NIH and therefore your role is key in helping NIH staff become more efficient with a business process management tool. There will be opportunities to interface directly with the customer and educate them on Pega.
This person must be resourceful, detail-oriented, and 100% client-focused, with a continuing passion for their profession.

Responsibilities
- Work as a development team member to assist with the evaluation of Pega modules and their relevance and suitability for the organization
- Work as part of a development team to assess the client’s organization and delivery environment and recommend optimal Pega-based solutions tailored to the client
- Participate as a development resource in execution of iterative releases of Pega-based applications driven by the program
- Perform analysis, design and change management, as needed by individual projects
- Support business-need assessments and Pega solution implementations tailored to fit organizational needs
- Ability to think creatively and strategically with a focus on achieving outcomes
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate, partner, and collaborate
- Experience in a customer–facing role, understanding business need and solving complex problems, is beneficial
- Flexibility to work with teams, individuals and executives and willingness to help with a wide variety of work products and people
- Coordination with Pega technical support
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience
- 1-2 years of progressive experience on BPM Methodology (Analysis, Design, Modeling, Executing, Monitoring, Optimization)
- 2+ years of experience in design and development of enterprise applications
- Experience with Pega Systems and development of Pega-based solutions (Required)
- Experience with Pega DevOps is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile software development, is desirable
- Experience using Azure DevOps, and/or working on a Scrum team is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology or related field
- Pega Certified System Architect Certification (Required)
Location:

Clearance:
- The ability to obtain a government moderate background security clearance or Public Trust
Salary Inforamtion:
- The pay for this position ranges from $60,750 to $84,500.
- The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
- Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation, such as bonuses.
