We are looking for a Jr. Business Intelligence Engineer to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions!  This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.  

 

This role leans on a demonstrated foundation in Azure Cloud services, SQL Server, and Power BI to architect, implement, and optimize data solutions and visualizations. This role requires alignment with client’s best practices and safety protocols. 

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and implement comprehensive data solutions, ensuring efficient data flow architectures and compliance with data governance. 
  • Build and execute automated ETL processes, leveraging Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Explorer, with Synapse integration being advantageous. 
  • Construct moderately complex data visualizations, transforming real data into actionable insights. 
  • Apply rigorous data schema designs and real-time telemetry specifications for robust database solutions. 
  • Generate technical documentation, draft high-level design proposals, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to align project deliverables. 
  • Manage workload effectively to meet frequent reporting deadlines and contribute to both independent and collaborative team dynamics. 

Qualifications: 

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering, analysis, and business intelligence. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field. 
  • Proficiency in Azure Cloud services, specifically Azure Data Explorer and Azure Data Factory; knowledge of Synapse is a plus. 
  • Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, and physical implementation of complex logical database designs. 
  • Demonstrated skill in creating detailed data visualizations and understanding relational database concepts. 
  • Excellent communication abilities, alongside critical thinking and problem-solving skills, are essential. 
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team, meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Hands-on experience with Azure data services and ETL product ecosystem a substantial plus. 

 

Salary Range 

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $80,000 to $87,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
