Position's General Duties and Tasks
Responsible for conducting or participating in multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems software. Determines computer user needs; advises hardware designers on machine characteristics that affect software systems such as storage capacity, processing speed, and input/output requirements; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.

Responsibilities:
•    Design, develop, and maintain application software.
•    Lead project teams and manage software development project.
•    Ensure that code that is produced, tested, and debugged is both error free and efficient.
•    Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and developers.
•    Work with both internal and external teams to define requirement and ensure that the solution(s) meet user needs.
•    Solve technical challenges and ensure the quality and efficiency of the software produced.
•    Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and say updated with the latest technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Java software development and/or engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience using Agile methods.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance prior to start.
• Required Certifications:
  • Security+ CE certification required 
  • Computing Environment certification (Java) within 60 days of start
• Masters degree
  • Education Equivalency: Bachelors degree with 2 additional years of experience.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is [Min: $90,146 - Max: $208,672]. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
